The summer between my freshmen and sophomore year of undergrad, I lived in a cozy little apartment in Westwood with some of my co-workers from catering. I was only going to live there a month, but me, being my crazy room decor obsessed-self, couldn’t settle for a plain room. I wanted to personalize it enough so that I would be comfortable with my space while still having some aesthetic value. I decided to go with a simple and subtle beach theme. I reused my old light blue comforter from freshmen year, added some beige/tan throw pillows, and hung a handmade shell rope garland for a clean and dainty look that’s reminscent of a breezy day at the beach.
